About the Designer

Kara's story begins with solo travels around the world, from Morocco to Vietnam, sourcing jewelry, clothing, and textiles.

Thanks to family ties, her journey led to Mexico where she discovered a milliner in Oaxaca who sparked her passion for millinery. Over time, she learned to design and press hats.  

She draws inspiration from the craftsmanship of traditional artisans, infusing elements of art, history, and romance picked up on travels abroad.
